National Literature Award winner, writer Min Chan Mon passes away

National Literature Award winner, writer Min Chan Mon (U Thein Soe) passed away on 28 December at North Okkalapa Hospital in Yangon, according to his family.
He won Sarpay Beikman young writer award in 1990 with Ywatthit Thabyay youth’s short stories, Sarpay Beikman poem collection award in 1992 with Aryonekyo Alin Ngatmyar, and National Literature Award in 2018 with essay collection Honey Drops on the Leaf.
He was 75 years old at demise.
