New Age | 3 win Oitijya–Shantanu Kaiser Literary Award





The Oitijya–Shantanu Kaiser Literary Award 2025 was announced on Tuesday.

The three manuscripts that have been nominated for the award are Hamayat Ullah Imon-written ‘Phenaful’, Zubair Rashid-written ‘Ghalib-er Mushaira’ and Sharan Ahsan-written ‘Purnama’, said a press release.

The three award-winning manuscripts will be published from the Oitijya in the upcoming Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026.

The award will be presented on the ninth death anniversary of Shantanu Kaiser on April 11, 2026.

In memory of writer and professor Shantanu Kaiser, Shantanu Kaiser Memorial Library and Study Centre, Sajanmegh and publishing house Oitijya have jointly launched the literary award.

Manuscripts were invited for the award from August 23, 2025 to November 15, 2025. According to the award policy, the authors of the best three manuscripts selected by the jury for the award every year will be given this award, crest and certificate worth Tk 50,000 each.
