Bank Street College of Education has revealed the honorees of the 2025 Margaret Wise Brown Board Book Award (MWBBBA).
Below the Ice by Michaël Escoffier, illustrated by Ella Charbon (Peter Pauper Press) and We All Play by Julie Flett (Greystone Books) are gold medal winners of the 2025 MWBBBA recognizing excellence in literature for very young children.
Is That the Bus? by Libby Koponen, illustrated by Katie Mazeika (Charlesbridge) received a silver medal.
Given every two years, the MWBBBA is administered by the Children’s Book Committee of Bank Street, which also released a 2025 edition of the Best Board Books of the Year.
